The ideological and political construction of science and engineering major is an important way to realize the full-staff education,whole-process education,all-round education.As one of the core courses of energy and power majors,the ideological and political construction of thermal energy and power machinery manufacturing technology is particularly essential in the new era.Focusing on the course of Thermal Energy and Power Machinery Manufacturing Technology,the problems in the current teaching are analyzed.By digging deep into the ideological and political elements of the course,the elements are integrated into the teaching content and teaching methods,the solutions to the ideological and political problems existing in the course are discussed;and the practical results of the ideological and political construction of the course are introduced.The research results show that deeply excavating the ideological and political elements of specialized courses and integrating them into teaching can improve the ideological and moral level,the social responsibility and the historical mission of the students,and also promote the learning of major knowledge.This paper provides the theoretical basis and practical guidance for the ideological and political construction of energy and power class specialized courses in the new era.
