Collaborative innovation between industry,academia,and research is an important carrier for gathering innovative talents,promoting the integration of industry,academia,and research,implementing technological research and development,and supporting high-quality industrial development.It can achieve efficient integration and scheduling of various advantageous resources such as production,education,and scientific research,and do a good job in coordinating key links in the upstream,midstream,and downstream innovation chains.It promotes the deep integration of core,basic,and common technologies with the industrial chain,thereby enhancing the level of tackling key core technologies and the transformation effect of scientific and technological achievements.To this end,local governments actively introduce and continuously improve policies to promote deep cooperation between industry,academia,and research,and actively gather high-quality resources to build various platforms and bases.However,the integrated development of local industry university research faces many problems,such as unclear functional positioning,lack of coordinated development mechanism,serious imbalance in the distribution of high-quality innovation resources,and lack of systematic reform and support policies.This article takes Shanxi Province as an example to summarize and analyze the existing achievements of the integration of industry,academia,and research.Based on this,it analyzes the problems existing in the development of industry,academia,and research in the central and western regions,and puts forward rational suggestions.
