The School of Chemical Engineering at Tianjin University is planning to introduce a specialized elective course in the 2023 undergraduate teaching program for the Bioengineering major,titled"Engineering Management in Bio and Pharmaceutical Enterprises."This course aims to integrate modern business management concepts with professional knowledge in the field of bioengineering,providing students with essential knowledge of enterprise engineering.The course will teach students how to cultivate appropriate ethics and values,engineering literacy,and scientific literacy,as well as how to apply engineering management principles to bioengineering practice.The curriculum will cover key areas such as project management,risk assessment,quality control,and cost analysis,and will employ teaching methods like case studies,simulations,and field visits to enable students to combine theoretical knowledge with practical application.This course is designed to help students develop the ability to solve real-world engineering management problems and prepare them for future engineering management positions in the bio and pharmaceutical industries.
