New Engineering is one of the important reform directions and measures in the field of higher engineering education in China.As a traditional engineering major,Resource exploration engineering in China University of Geosciences(Wuhan)is worthy of further discussion on how to cultivate applied innovative talents under the background of new engineering education.On the basis of a detailed analysis of the present situation and existing problems of resource exploration engineering talent training in universities,this paper has carried on beneficial exploration and practice from the innovative curriculum system,discipline competition system,scientific research practice platform system,university-enterprise integration,multi-discipline intersection and integration into global innovation.It has preliminarily formed a set of practical teaching solutions for the application of innovative talents training in resource exploration engineering to help the innovative development of new engineering.
