The flipped classroom teaching method was explored and applied in the teaching of the undergraduate course Livestock Production in the New Agricultural Science. We always believe in students'ability for self-directed learning.Firstly,we organically integrate ideological and political education, knowledge learning, and skill innovation to reshape teaching objectives. Then,we reorganize and decompose teaching content around teaching objectives.Through equal participation of teachers and students in the entire teaching process, including resource sharing, classroom sharing, case analysis and discussion, review and summary, and homework assignments,we also introduce student self-evaluation,stimulate students'interest in learning, promote practical innovation, and achieve ideal learning and teaching results.Through teaching reflection and summary, the teaching philosophy of"mutual growth of teaching and learning, application of knowledge, inspiration in teaching, and progress in learning"has been established, which will play a guiding role in the teaching of undergraduate professional courses in new agricultural science.
