The collaborative cultivation of applied talents through"industry-university-research-application"is a specific measure for universities to implement the important functions of"scientific research,talent cultivation,and serving society".Based on the current development status of biotechnology majors both domestically and internationally,reform ideas were proposed from the aspects of teacher team construction,internship and training base construction,diversified talent training programs,and assessment and evaluation mechanisms,to provide ideas for exploring the cultivation mode of applied talents in biotechnology majors in higher education institutions under the background of"Industry-university-research-application".
