Ideological and political education is the foundation of moral cultivation in colleges and universities,and it is also an effective way to cultivate students'comprehensive quality and ability.Taking the course"Ship and Ocean Engineering Fluid Mechanics"as an example,this paper explores the way to apply ideological and political education mode to professional course teaching under the background of new engineering,and carries out practical research from four aspects:disciplinary background,teaching concept,teaching goal and teaching approach,so as to realize the combination of knowledge imparts and ideological and political guidance.Applying ideological and political education model to the teaching of specialized courses can stimulate students'patriotic feelings and cultural self-confidence while implanting knowledge and cultivate talents for the country.
