Local private higher education institutions have a relatively weak disciplinary foundation,especially for emerging science and engineering majors such as data engineering.This has led to unclear training objectives and other issues,which have constrained the quality of professional training.Therefore,this study,based on the actual needs of professional training,comprehensively considers the talent requirements of the data industry,uses data analysis and data mining methods,and combines students'employment intentions and ability acquisition to analyze the matching between students'professional abilities and employment directions.At the same time,the study analyzes the lack of skills for the employment directions students expect.The industry demand analysis data used in this study is from the 2022 March data of the 51job recruitment platform,and the student data is from the data science and big data technology major of Weifang University of Technology.Through macro analysis of the current situation of data engineering talent training in the industry and a job-oriented talent ability matching method based on employment orientation,this study dynamically analyzes the matching between professional abilities and employment directions.At the same time,it conducts a capability analysis of deficiencies based on student intentions.This can assist relevant institutions in formulating custom-tailored training paths and training plans for data engineering talents,and provide reference for the training positioning and training paths of other data-related majors.
