Guided by educating people for warfare in this paper,exploration and practice about ideological and political education embedded in courses targeting aiming equipment performance testing is conducted.Based on analyzing the current situation about ideological and political education embedded in professional courses,a teaching model has been established that effectively integrates ideological and political education into professional courses by top-level design and planning of teaching objectives for ideological and political education embedded in courses,explorating the ideological and political elements within each knowledge point,establishing a chart mapping knowledge points to ideological and political elements,innovating the implementing methods of ideological and political education,design and practice of teaching cases for ideological and political education embedded in courses.This model was applicated in practical teaching of aiming equipments performance testing in 2022 and 2023.The good effectiveness of ideological and political education teaching was achieved.It can provide reference and inspiration for the ideological and political education embedded in courses teaching of other professional courses and practical courses.
