Dule Temple contains an integrated design model based on the cultural concept and the idea of measuring the whole scale,taking into account the overall planning of the courtyard,the design of the architectural space and the installation of statues.It taking the facial length of the statue(1.338 meters or 4.5 Chi)as the datum quantity to control the scales of the statue,pavilion and temple,and to create a harmonious proportional relationship between the various elements.The origin of design is heart of the statue of Avalokitesvara,it was set in the geometric center of the pavilion.The square grid,concentric circles and radiation are used to effectively realize the counterpoint association of core elements,forming a whole with spatial interaction and cultural connotation.This shows the ancient Chinese cosmology o"Round Sky and Square Earth,Setting the Pole and Construct Centripetally",the idea of Yingzao(Create buildings and other things)of"Unity of number,form and cultural meaning",the thinking of"Orders"and the philosophy of human-centered.
