The Practice of"Oral History"Method applied in Vernacular Construction surveys——Taking Interview with Mao Jingrong,a Carpenter from Northern Fujian,as an Example
Based on the case of the interview with craftsman Mao Jingrong living in Guangze County,this paper focus on organizing the interview from four aspects:"terminology","section drawing","gao ruler",and"craft style",from which the craftsman's mind is summarized.The attempt is made to extract the oral research methods and meanings in vernacular construction surveys,and provide some information samples and work references for the further research.
