Ersha Island Yiyang Garden,the first garden villa hospital in Guangzhou,is a typical modern historical building in Guangzhou,featuring the fusion of Chinese and Western aesthetics,reflecting the building art of China's modern architecture,and carrying"live memory"of China's modern democratic revolution.Thus,it has high repairs and revitalization value.Taking Yiyang Garden repair design project as an example,this paper sorts out the historical background,analyzes its status quo,investigates its repair plan implementation and the revitalization utilization to explore how the value system of modern historic building leads repair design,and how to coordinate and weigh up the contradiction between abstract value and concrete repair,hoping to providing reference for the protection and utilization for modern historical buildings.
