Study on the Heritage Value of Wutai Mountain Based on Discourse Analysis of Qingliang Mountain Records
Wutai Mountain is a typical representative of China's famous mountain site, with the outstanding features of high unity of nature and culture. As mountain records are the most systematic and specialised records on mountain culture in ancient China, this paper takes Wutai Mountain as the research object, and selects"Qingliang Mountain Records"compiled by Shi Zhencheng of the Ming Dynasty as the historical text.Based on the three major discourse subjects, namely mountain monks, emperors, and literati, the critical discourse analysis is carried out by using semantic analysis function of ROST-CM6 and spatial visualization of ArcGis as the auxiliary tools to re-conceptualize the heritage value and its inherent logic. It helps excavate Chinese traditional mountain culture so as to construct the local heritage discourse in China. Finally,it is possible to provide references for the protection of China's heritage.
