Study on Genotype Change of Rural Housing in Quzhou-from the Perspective of Space Syntax
Space syntax,as a theoretical method for quantitative analysis of space, has the advantages of both quantitative and qualitative analysis[1].This theory describes architecture as a composite system formed by a certain topological structure of multiple spatial nodes. The"genotype"of residential space refers to the feature set of planar topological relations formed by the action of user's behavior pattern on the spatial relations inside the dwellings. This paper takes 56 rural housings in Qujiang District of Quzhou City during the five representative periods as the research object. After refining and interpreting the stable types in spatial genotypes,it is found that:1)the rural residential space presents an obvious trend of modernization and secularization;2)with the change of the dominant power of construction and the intervention of external design forces, the local characteristics have partially disappeared.
