Analysis on Construction Characteristics and Value of Shaoyang North Tower Architecture
Fengshui tower is a kind of traditional building type with specific function and special cultural connotation which prevailed in Ming and Qing dynasties.As a Fengshui tower in Ming and Qing dynasties,Shaoyang North Tower in Hunan Province has representative and regional characteristics in architectural form,site selection,environmental layout and other aspects.On the basis of systematically sorting out the body and environmental elements of Shaoyang North Tower,the paper analyzes its characteristics in architectural construction,geomantic site selection,landscape city spatial environment treatment and so on.Combined with the fengshui construction tradition,regional history and culture of the North tower in the time and space background,exploring the value of cultural heritage,provides basis for value interpretation and cultural heritage,and provides reference for the study of Fengshui tower in Ming and Qing dynasties.
