Design Strategy on Spatial Function Replacement of Residential Houses in Peri-urban Village of Guanzhong Area
With the concept of integrated urban-rural development in China,the rural economic dominated by farming is undergoing change,which the transformation of the livelihoods of rural farmers in the peri-urban areas being the most obvious. A large number of mansions and dwellings now need to replace the functions of the existing space in self-renewal,in order to adapt to the livelihoods change. To summarize,taking Guanzhong area as an example to explore the current situation of the functional use of residential space,based on the types of farmer's livelihoods,and construct a "multi-type,multi-level" functional replacement strategy of design,by using courtyards,main houses,and auxiliary houses as the constituent elements of residential space,with a view to providing a basis for high-quality renewal of Guanzhong's peri-urban villages.
