Preliminary Study of Dongzhu Temple in Panshan Mountain,Jizhou District
Dongzhu Temple,a small temple situated in pine valley in Panshan mountain originally,then became temporary resting place because of the emperor's travelling of Panshan mountain. After the completion of Jingji Mountain Resort in Qing Dynasty,was listed as one of the mountain resort attached with 16 views. Dongzhu Temple was rebuilt twice:once was built by the people;second was rebuilt by the royal,adding ZuoLuo(imperial rest area). Now the ground building has been destroyed,only the ruins. This paper takes Dongzhu Temple as the research object,through collecting and sorting out the relevant graphic and text materials of Dongzhu Temple,surveying the site,and exploring the construction and evolution,site selection and spatial layout characteristics of Dongzhu Temple. On the basis of this,the paper analyzes the differences between the spatial layout,management methods and characteristics of Dongzhu Nunnery during the two reconstruction,excavates its heritage value,to explore its heritage value and provide academic support for the protection and utilization of Panshan natural and cultural heritage.
