This paper discusses the research and application of signal equipment fault diagnosis technology in railway comprehensive maintenance.The basic composition and functions of railway signal equipment are summarized,and the key role of railway signal equipment in railway transportation is emphasized.The limitations of traditional FDD techniques are reviewed,and advanced FDD techniques,including data fusion,data mining,and the combination of FTA and expert system,are studied.
