In 2023,the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and The State Council issued the Overall Layout Plan for the construction of Digital China,emphasizing the consolidation of digital infrastructure and data resource systems to lay a solid foundation for the construction of smart archives.The embedding and application of artificial intelligence technology in the business management process of smart archives has prompted a new changein the business management process of archives,and at the same time responded to the strategic requirements of the development of national archives.This paper analyzes the current situation of archives business management process,and expounds the new changes brought by artificial intelligence to archives business management process from the perspective of file life cycle,in order to provide direction and value guidance for artificial intelligence to open a new era of intelligent archives.
