With the accelerated development of global information and digitalization,digital technology has become one of the important forces driving economic and social development.In recent years,China has placed great emphasis on the application and development of digital technology in the implementation of the rural revitalization strategy,aiming to address long-standing issues in rural areas such as inadequate infrastructure,insufficient educational resources,and subpar medical conditions through information technology.Digital technology can not only promote the development of the rural economy but also enhance the quality of life for rural residents and achieve integrated urban-rural development.This study aims to outline the current status of digital technology applications in rural revitalization and analyze the main challenges and their causes based on this overview.
