The chemistry course is a mandatory component for pharmaceutical majors in higher vocational colleges, providing essential theoretical foundations and experimental skills for subsequent specialized courses. However, current challenges in chemistry teaching include insufficient class hours, limited teaching methods, and low student engagement.Supported by national policies,Augmented Reality(AR)technology offers distinct advantages in intuitive visualization and natural interaction. It has the potential to render abstract and complex chemical concepts more comprehensible and to create virtual objects within real-world environments. This presents promising opportunities for enhancing chemical theory instruction, experimental practices, and laboratory management.
