The automation of ports and remote control of equipment have raised higher requirements for the reliable operation of port cranes,and traditional grease lubrication methods can no longer meet the efficient operation needs of port equipment.A solution for a grease free lubrication system for port cranes is proposed.By changing the lubrication mode of the motion pair,constructing a lubrication unit,and establishing a lubrication status monitoring platform,intelligent operation and maintenance can be achieved,which can improve the durability,reliability,and work efficiency of port cranes.
