Research on Comprehensive Benefit Evaluation of Regional Trunk Highway Network Based on Multi-source Data
Highway network benefit evaluation is an important content of highway network planning, which can effectively analyze the rationality of highway network layout and evaluate its adaptability and coordination with social and economic development.Considering the development requirements of the new spatial pattern,in this paper a comprehensive benefit evaluation index system is established for the road network from four aspects:operational, economic, social, and environmental.Based on multi-source data such as road network basic data,socio-economic data, and traffic volume data, the indicators are quantitatively calculated using TransCAD and ArcGIS tools, and the data envelopment analysis(DEA)method is used to analyze the comprehensive benefits of trunk highway networks in different regions with super efficiency. The trunk highway network in Shaanxi Province is used as an example for verification. The results show that the DEA method is suitable for super-efficiency analysis of the comprehensive benefits of road networks in different cities, and Xi'an,Weinan,Tongchuan,Yan'an,and Yulin have the highest efficiency values, while Baoji has the lowest efficiency values. The research results can provide theoretical basis for regional highway traffic network planning.
