Research on the Deteriorating Impact of Photo-Thermal Factors on the Pavement Performance of Epoxy Asphalt Mixtures
To analyze the influence of photo-thermal factors on the performance of epoxy asphalt mixtures, based on indoor aging treatment, the high-temperature stability tests, crack resistance tests, immersion stability tests, and bending fatigue life tests are carried out.The study reveals that the road performance of epoxy asphalt mixtures deteriorates significantly with increased aging time or the accumulation of aging factors.Thermal-oxygen aging induces far greater performance damage to epoxy asphalt mixtures than photo-oxygen aging, making it the dominant factor in coupled aging.Epoxy asphalt mixtures subjected to coupled aging treatments still exhibit favorable performance levels in indicators such as rut depth, maximum tensile strain, and fracture energy.
