Treatment Measures of Groundwater in Abutment Backfill of Karst Strata
With the rapid development of expressway construction in recent years,the construction requirements for backfill of the abutment are also getting higher and higher.The abutment backfill work is featured with small work surface,complicated procedures but very critical,the quality of the backfill directly affects the stability of the abutment and the comfort of driving,and the essential to eliminate the common problems of car bouncing at bridge ends is to ensure the backfill quality of the abutment.In the paper,from the perspectives of the difficulties that encountered and the methods of problem solving in the construction of abutment backfill for the Moracica Bridge,the treatment of groundwater in the construction for abutment backfill under karst strata is analyzed and concluded,which can provide reference for this kind of abutment backfill construction.
