Study of Settlement Calculation of Unsaturated Soil based on European Code
More and more Chinses enterprises are engaged in the constructions of projects along the Belt and Road countries,and the settlement calculation of unsaturated soil is often encountered in the process of highway construction.The settlement calculation of unsaturated soil is rarely involved in Chinese norms and guidelines,and Chinese engineers often have no way to start because of the lack of necessary theoretical support when facing the settlement calculation of unsaturated soil.Based on the construction experience of roads designed based on European code,some problems of settlement calculation of unsaturated soil are studied in the paper,and the formula of settlement calculation of unsaturated soil is explored based on European code.The conclusions can be used as reference for highway construction in similar areas.
