Research on the Causes and Treatment Measures of Longitudinal Cracks on the Top Plate of Single-box Double-cell Box Girder in Operation Period
Due to its larger deck width, the single-box double-cell box section has been widely used under the background of continuous development of transportation and rapid growth of bridge traffic demand. In the operation phase, the top slab of single-box double-cell box girder is prone to longitudinal cracks, which affects the technical condition and durability of the structure. In this paper, the distribution and morphological characteristics of the cracks are analyzed based on the results of on-site inspection and coring of the longitudinal cracks in the top slab, and then the effectiveness of the transverse prestressed tendons in the top slab, the floating deviation and the impact on the cracking are studied;combined with the characteristics and causes of the cracks, the treatment scheme is designed and the experimental implementation and effect tracking observation are carried out.The results show that the transverse prestress floating of the top slab will significantly reduce the compressive stress reserve of the lower edge and cause the longitudinal cracking of the concrete;for the longitudinal cracks of the top slab, the high ductility anti-corrosion coating scheme can achieve good results.
