Severe weather can cause huge impact on the efficient,fast,convenient and safe operation of expressways.Due to the traffic control measures such as closed lanes during severe weather,the efficiency of travel is seriously affected,which restricts the development of the transportation system and causes huge social and economic losses.Therefore,in order to ensure all-weather travel safety on expressways in the face of severe weather,higher requirements are put forward for the safety and smoothness of transportation and emergency response capabilities.It is urgently necessary to accelerate the construction of informationization,improve emergency response plans,increase meteorological monitoring and surveillance,and enhance traffic control level,so as to establish an all-round,multi-level and high-efficiency all-weather travel safety guarantee system,reduce accidents and traffic control,and ensure the stable operation of expressway traffic all day long.
