Research on Impact Resistance of Rubber Concrete Pavement Slab
In order to study the impact resistance of rubber concrete pavement, three cross-section types of rubber concrete pavement specimens are designed.Based on the free drop hammer impact test and finite element simulation, the damage morphology, impact energy, impact acceleration, maximum impact force and impact displacement of pavement specimens are studied. The results show that when CRC-U specimen with rubber concrete as impact contact surface is damaged, there is only one horizontal crack on the upper surface, and there are pits. When CRC-D failure of specimens with ordinary concrete as impact contact surface, the upper surface generates staggered cracks. The impact energy of CRC,CRC-U and CRC-D is 1.095,2.671 and 1.191 times that of NC,respectively. The peak acceleration of normal concrete pavement specimen NC shows an increasing trend in the early impact loading, and the greater the mass of the ball, the more obvious the peak acceleration increases. The peak acceleration of CRC,CRC-U and CRC-D specimens containing rubber concrete decreases in varying degrees under the same impact load. The energy absorption rate of specimens containing rubber concrete is higher than that of ordinary concrete, and the energy absorption rate of CRC-U is the highest. The impact energy of the specimen is 270 J,and the impact force is sorted as CRCCRC-U>CRC-D>NC.It can be seen that rubber aggregates improve the impact resistance of road surface specimens to different degrees. The final failure mode of CRC-D is light, and the plastic strain under impact is small. The specimen CRC-U has the highest impact resistance, the highest energy absorption rate and the best impact resistance.
