Research on the Technology of Zero Carbon Building in the Service Area of Tropical Island Expressway
The service areas along expressways in Hainan Province is public service facilities that operates 24 hours per day without closing. At the same time,as a tropical island,Hainan Province is featured with high temperatures, high humidity, and strong winds all year round, resulting in huge energy consumption for air conditioning, dehumidification, and artificial lighting in the expressway service areas. The requirements for building structural strength have increased, and the demand for building energy continues to rise. The carbon emission intensity of materials and structures has also increased, and the pressure on carbon reduction of buildings is gradually increasing. The research on the technology of zero carbon building in highway service areas in Hainan Province is of great significance for reducing the carbon emission intensity of buildings in highway service areas and achieving the goal of zero carbon buildings in highway service areas.
