BIM Forward Design of Continuous Steel Truss Beams with Variable Heights
The Xinsha Viaduct of Shiziyang Link Project is a double-layer variable height continuous steel truss bridge structure. The design adopts parameter-driven modular solution, including the whole bridge truss system line, standard components(nodes, strings, belly rods, etc.),segment model and BIM model of the whole bridge.According to the structure form, the trusses are subdivided into several standard components. The standard components are assembled into the segment model and the whole bridge model by driving parameters, and the construction drawings are generated automatically.Through the standard components driven by parameters, the steel girder can be matched with a variety of system line forms of double-layer variable height, and its three-dimensional model and construction drawing dimensions are linked to the parameters, which can be automatically updated.By applying this BIM forward design idea, the drawing of steel truss beams can be quickly parameterized, and can be applied to steel truss bridges with various system lines and cross sections, improving the design efficiency and accuracy.
