Reinforcement and Prevention of Bridge Settlement in Karst Areas
In the expressway renovation and expansion projects,due to the influence of the old bridge,there are many differences in design and construction compared with new construction projects.In the design and construction,the close state is usually paid great attention while neglecting protection to the old bridge.In the paer,a widened bridge on an expressway is taken as background,the settlement treatment process of old bridges during construction is introduced,and how to prevent bridge settlement in karst areas during design and construction is proposed,which could provides reference for strengthening and prevention of pile foundation settlement of widened bridges.
