Design of the Main Girder of Three-tower Self-anchored Suspension Bridge with Main Span of 2 × 428 m
The main bridge of Fenghuang Yellow River Bridge in Jinan City of Shandong Province is a self-anchored suspension bridge with three towers and double cable planes. The span arrangement is 70+168+428+428+168+70 m.A new type composite structure with orthotropic composite bridge deck is used as the stiffening girder, the concrete slab and the steel bridge deck are connected by stud connectors to bear the force together, which makes the stiffening girder high bearing capacity and good durability.Based on the mechanical characteristics of the main girder of the three-tower self-anchored suspension bridge, the main girder design details are introduced for the main bridge of the Fenghuang Yellow River Bridge, and the key mechanical properties are analyzed through overall and local calculations. The results show that this new composite structure with orthotropic composite bridge deck can ensure the safety of the bridge and has good economy.
