Design of Noise Reducing Asphalt Mixture Thin Layer based on Dry Mixing Modification
The asphalt is modified by dry mixing with binary noise-reducing elastic particles.Based on the CAVF volumetric method,an asphalt mixture for overlay or reconstruction is designed, and a noise-reducing thin-layer asphalt mixture is prepared. The dry mixing modification increases the asphalt content of the mixture, and the discontinuous grading skeleton dense structure is adopted to enhance the skeleton support and embedding of the mixture.Laboratory tests and field applications have shown that the use of binary compound elastic noise-reducing particles to modify asphalt dry mixing can improve the performance of the mixture at the same time, including high temperature performance, low temperature performance, and water damage resistance. The measured noise in the test section is 10~12 dB lower than the original road surface.
