碱激发煤矸石粉和矿粉复合改良黄土的试验研究

针对黄土的不良工程性质,采用煤矸石粉和矿粉两种工业固废复掺作为改良材料,硅酸钠作为碱性激发剂对黄土改良,通过开展无侧限抗压强度试验、直剪试验和SEM扫描电镜试验,探究碱激发煤矸石粉和矿粉复掺改良黄土的力学性能和微观结构.试验结果表明:(1)随着不同配比复掺材料的加入,改良黄土的无侧限抗压强度和抗剪强度提高,当硅酸钠掺量为20%,矿粉掺量为16%,煤矸石粉掺量为24%时,改良黄土的黏聚力最大,抗压抗剪强度达到最大,改良效果最好;(2)通过对不同配比改良黄土的微观结构进行对比分析,可知煤矸石粉和矿粉的加入在土颗粒之间可以起到一定的填充和胶凝作用,在碱激发作用下煤矸石粉和矿粉的活性得到进一步的激发,煤矸石粉与矿粉发生的水化水解反应、离子交换作用以及火山灰反应生成的水化产物使得土体颗粒之间的絮凝、团聚、胶结作用进一步加强,改良黄土的整体性能得到显著地提升;(3)碱激发煤矸石粉和矿粉复合改良黄土具有优良的力学性能和广泛的应用前景,可为煤矸石粉的工程应用和黄土的改良改性提供借鉴和参考.
Research on Composite Improvement of Loess with Alkali Activated Coal Gangue Powder and Mineral Powder
In view of the poor engineering properties of loess,two kinds of industrial solid wastes,coal gangue powder and mineral powder,are used as improvement materials,and sodium metasilicate is used as alkaline activator to improve loess.The mechanical properties and microstructure of alkali activated coal gangue powder and mineral powder are explored through unconfined compressive strength test,direct shear test and SEM scanning electron microscope test.The test results show that:(1)the unconfined compressive strength and shear strength of the improved loess increase with the addition of mixed materials of different proportions.When the content of sodium metasilicate is 20%,the content of mineral powder is 16%,and the content of coal gangue powder is 24%,the cohesion of the improved loess is the largest,the compression and shear strength reaches the maximum,and the improvement effect is the best;(2)through comparative analysis of the microstructure of improved loess with different ratios,it can be seen that the addition of coal gangue powder and mineral powder can play a certain filling and gelling role between soil particles.Under the alkali excitation,the activity of coal gangue powder and mineral powder is further stimulated.The hydration hydrolysis reaction,ion exchange interaction and hydration products generated by volcanic ash reaction between coal gangue powder and mineral powder make the flocculation,agglomeration and cementation effects further strengthened,and hence the overall performance of improved loess is significantly improved;(3)the composite improvement of loess with alkali activated coal gangue powder and mineral powder has excellent mechanical properties and broad application prospects,which can provide reference for the engineering application of coal gangue powder and the improvement and modification of loess.
