Research on Seismic Performance of A Single-Pylon Cable-stayed Bridge across Chengdu-Kunming Railway
A single-pylon cable-stayed bridge crosses over the Chengdu-Kunming Railway, which imposes a high requirement on seismic safety. In this paper, the finite element software Sap2000 is used to establish the spatial dynamic analysis model to study the seismic performance of the bridge. The results show that the required shear force at the pylon height of 3.206 m of the bridge is higher than its shear capacity, and the safety is insufficient,so the stirrups at this position should be intensified.Strong retaining blocks need to be set above the auxiliary piers to bear the seismic force after the bearing is cut off.The bearings of the transition piers and the auxiliary piers need to be designed with seismic hinges to improve the tensile strength of the bearing. The weak positions of the bridge are found in the seismic performance analysis. The seismic safety of the bridge can be effectively improved through optimization. The research in this paper can also provide reference for the seismic analysis of other similar bridges.
