Geometry Control Technology for Steel Beams of Cocody Bridges Curve Manufacturing
In order to meet the landscape requirements of overseas steel beam curve manufacturing, using a Cocody Bridge with a main span of 200 m as the background,a straight line,a circular curve, and a quadratic polynomial curve are used to separately fit the manufacturing line of each steel beam section considering pre-arching.The fitting errors of the three types of curves are analyzed in terms of elevation, longitudinal slope, misdocking, etc.,and the final decision is made to use quadratic polynomial curves for fitting the manufacturing alignment. The steel beams are processed and manufactured according to curves in the factory, and the geometry is accurately controlled during on-site installation. The results show that the quadratic polynomial curves can be more accurately fitted than straight lines and circular curves to consider the linear shape of each beam section of the pre-arched steel beam. After control, the main beam line shape has high accuracy and meets the landscape requirements.
