Numerical Analysis and Research on the Impact of Sediment Thickness on Pile-Wall Composite Anchorage
Sediment effect refers to the accumulation of slurry,fine-grained soil, and other materials at the foundation base during construction, leading to a decrease in foundation bearing capacity and an increase in settlement. In the paper,PLAXIS 3D finite element software is used to numerically simulate the pile-wall composite anchorage foundation of the Cangrong Xunjiang Bridge, the impact of different sediment thicknesses(0 cm,5 cm,10 cm,20 cm)on the internal force and deformation characteristics of the pile-wall composite anchor foundation are analyzed. The results show that as sediment thickness increases, the axial force of the pile-wall composite anchorage foundation significantly decreases, while shear force and bending moment significantly increase, and overall deformation increases. This indicates that sediment thickness has a significant impact on the bearing performance of the pile-wall composite anchorage foundation, which should be fully considered in design and construction. The research results provide an important reference for the design and optimization of related engineering projects.
