Influence of Mud Cake Thickness on the Bearing Capacity of Pile-anchor Composite Anchorage
The impact of mud cake thickness on the bearing capacity of pile-wall composite anchorage is studied in the paper.Mud cake is a layer of soil formed during the construction process of bored piles, and its thickness significantly affects the load-bearing performance of pile foundations and diaphragm wall foundations.By establishing PLAXIS 3D models with different mud cake thicknesses, the effects of variations in mud cake thickness on the internal forces and deformations of the pile-wall composite anchorage are analyzed. The results show that increase in mud cake thickness significantly affects the axial force, shear force, and deformation of the structure, especially the weakening effect of the slot section mud cake on the overall integrity of the structure is the most evident. The research findings provide theoretical support for engineering design, ensuring the optimization of structural design and the safety and stability of the project.
