Research on the Driving Mechanism of Rural E-Commerce Enabling County In-Situ Urbanization Construction
The construction of in-situ urbanization in counties is an innovation and extension of the traditional concept of urbanization,which is of great significance to realize the overall planning of urban and rural areas and play the role of"reservoir"in counties.Based on the comprehensive demonstration policy of e-commerce into rural areas,this paper uses the county data of Henan Province from 2011 to 2020,and uses the multi-time point incremental difference-in-difference method to evaluate the impact of this exogenous policy on the in-situ urbanization construction of counties and its driving mechanism.The research shows that:(1)The comprehensive demonstration policy of e-commerce into rural areas has promoted the development of in-situ urbanization in counties;(2)Rural e-commerce through access to a large number of financial support promotes the construction of local urbanization;(3)Rural e-commerce has attracted a large number of enterprises to carry out industrial agglomeration in rural areas,bringing a large number of local employment opportunities and promoting the development of local urbanization in counties;(4)Rural e-commerce promotes the construction of county in situ urbanization by changing farmers'production methods and improves living standards.Therefore,it is necessary to strengthen the unified cooperation among the government,enterprises and farmers to jointly promote the construction of local urbanization in counties.
