Thermal Adjustment Experiments on Reducing Carbon Contents of Fly Ash and Bottom Slag in Circulating Fluidized Bed Boiler
Thermal adjustment experiments were conducted under the operating parameters of the circulating fluidized bed(CFB)boiler, including the total air volume, the ratio of pri-mary and secondary air,bed temperature, bed pressure, etc. The influence of each parameter on the carbon content of fly ash and bottom slag was analyzed. It was found that under the 330 t/h output condition(without the fly ash recirculation),by properly increasing the bed pressure and combustion chamber temperature, the fuel can be fully combusted. The carbon content of fly ash was reduced from 20.75%before adjustment to about 15.97%,the carbon content of the bottom slag was reduced from the highest 2.28%to about 0.40%,and the boiler efficiency was increased by more than 1.5%.In addition, the recycling of fly ash can effectively reduce the carbon content of fly ash,and it is recommended to ensure the recycling of fly ash in production practice.
