Research of the doctor-patient awareness of diagnostic related groupings in the new rural cooperative medical care system
Objective to study the doctor-patient awareness of diagnostic related groupings in Lianyungang. Methods The research was conducted by applying questionnaires and in-depth interviews on doctors and patients’ awareness of diagnostic related groupings from three Level-3 general hospitals in Lianyungang. Results the difference degrees of doctor-patient awareness about diagnostic related groupings are statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion the above results suggest the importance of popularizing the knowledge of diagnostic related groupings so as to improve doctor-patient cognition level. It can not only standardize diagnosis and treatment, continuously improve the quality of medical treatment, but also can achieve better effects of applying diagnostic related groupings.
