China's Shipping Economic Development: Mode and Competitiveness
The 21st century is a century of ocean. To develop ocean economy has become an important national policy of our country. The ocean transportation economy is called Shipping economy for short which is an important component of ocean economy. The paper points out that, the "government and market two-wheel driven" mode is China's shipping development mode. It's a Chinese style, in which the government as a leading role, can give full play to the two-hand effect of "visible hand" and "invisible hand", make a full use of domestic and international two markets and two resources, thus has flexible mechanism, high efficiency, strong ability against risks, as well as the characteristics of competitiveness of the business mode. On the basis of the above analysis, the thesis then builds a model to measure and evaluate competitiveness of the shipping economic development mode of China's "government and market two-wheel driven". Finally, according to the evaluation and measure, the author puts forward countermeasures and suggestions to further enhance competitiveness of China's shipping economic development mode.
