On the Road of Connotative Development of Tourism Industry in Haikou
As the provincial capital of the International Tourism Island, Haikou, which is the political center, cultural center and the transport hub in Hainan, is also the most populous and prosperous region of the whole province. Which road actually is the most suitable route for the tourism development of the provincial capital Haikou？ It has been found that at present Haikou must be persistent in applying theory to practice and unswervingly adhere to the road of connotative development for Haikou＇ s tourism industry. This paper focuses on the discussion of following three problems： what the Haikou＇s tourism industry that we are going to build looks like; how to build Haikou＇s tourism industry; how to realize the development goal for Haikou＇s tourism industry. In conclusion, the author proves that the road of connotative development is the necessary step for the periodical development of Hainan＇s tourism industry, and the only way which must be passed to construct the central city of the International Tourism Island.
