摘要
中国旅游业的发展促进了旅游教育的发展,而旅游教育的发展对教师提出了新的挑战。我国旅游教育在教师的培养方面还存在着一定的空白与缺失．分析旅游教育发展对教师的挑战，提出应对教师教育的策略：制定适合培养旅游院校教师的相关政策,创设多种教师培养的途径，构建开放的旅游院校教师教育体系，培养大批旅游教育急需的骨干教师．教师教育成为旅游院校一项重大和急迫的工作．
Abstract
With the development of China＇s tourism industry, tourism education in the country has got certain achievements; however, it＇s also facing new challenges, especially, in the respect of teachers--training. This paper, focusing on this very respect, presents some advice on how to cultivate more qualified tourism institutions＇ teachers, i.e. making proper strategies and policies, diversifying cultivating channels, establishing an open educational system, training urgently--needed core teachers. Therefore, teachers＇ continuous education has become an important and urgent work in tourism institutions.
