Chinese modernization is a modernization in which humanity and nature coexist harmoniously.The CPC adjusted the devel-opment model according to the characteristics and needs of different historical periods,and promoted the relationship between humanity and nature to a new stage of greater harmony.In the decade of the new era,the strategic position of ecological civilization has been im-proved historically,the ecological civilization system and the rule of law system have been improved day by day,the security and stability of the ecosystem have been greatly improved,the environmental quality has been improved historically,and green and low-carbon develop-ment has taken solid steps.However,there are still some deep-seated contradictions and problems.Mainly manifested in the contradiction between the basic position of nature and the lack of understanding,the contradiction between people's growing needs and ecosystem ser-vice capacity,the contradiction between green development requirements and the backward development mode,the contradiction between ecological systematicness and fragmentation of governance,and the contradiction between publicity of ecological civilization and insuffi-cient participation of subjects.To realize the modernization of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature,we must adhere to the overall leadership of the Party,embody the people-centered purpose,plan development from the height of harmonious coexistence between humanity and nature,promote the benign interaction between scientific and technological innovation and institutional innovation,firmly grasp the bull nose of structural green optimization,and build an ecological environment governance system that encourages tolerance and multiple participation.
