Research on the Impact of Embeddedness of Industry Association on Enterprise Digital Transformation
The study selects A-share listed manufacturing companies from 2007 to 2021 as re-search samples to investigate the impact and mechanism of the embeddedness of industry association on solving the dilemma of digital transformation of enterprises.This study finds that the embedded-ness of industry association significantly promotes enterprise digital transformation through mecha-nisms of resource empowerment and legitimacy perception.Meanwhile,TMT digital knowledge and TMT functional background heterogeneity strengthen this promotion through the path of resource em-powerment,while industry digitalization level and regional marketization level strengthen this promo-tion through the path of legitimacy perception.Further research shows that the embeddedness of in-dustry association enhances enterprise digital transformation mainly through three paths:reducing fi-nancing constraints,improving absorptive capacity,and reducing the perception of economic policy uncertainty.Furthermore,this impact is more significant in private enterprises,non-government affil-iated enterprises and small-scale enterprises.
