Erzhu Erchen Decoction Combined with Acupoint Application in the Treatment of Acute Exacerbation Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
Objective To observe the curative effect of Erzhu Erchen decoction combined with acupoint application on acute exacerbation chronic obstructive pulmonary disease(AECOPD).Methods A total of 62 patients with AECOPD admitted to Xinyu People's Hospital from January 2023 to January 2024 were randomly divided into control group of 31 cases and experimental group of 31 cases.The control group was treated with conventional Western medicine,and the experimental group was treated with oral Erzhu Erchen decoction combined with acupoint application on the basis of the control group.Pulmonary function,dyspnea index(mMRC)scale score,6 min walking distance and TCM syndrome score of patients in 2 groups were detected,and adverse reactions during treatment were recorded.Results Compared with the control group,the values of FEV1%pred,FEV1/FVC and 6min walking distance in experimental group were significantly increased after treatment(P＜0.05).The scores of cough,sputum output,lethargy,dry mouth,shortness of breath syndrome score,adverse reaction reflux rate and mMRC score were significantly decreased(P＜0.05).Conclusion Erzhu Erchen decoction combined with acupoint appli-cation can significantly improve the lung function,improve the quality of life and exercise ability of patients with AECOPD,improve syn-drome of patients included cough,sputum volume,phlegm,dry mouth,shortness of breath,and reduce gastrointestinal adverse reactions.
