Exploration of the Educational View of Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School with Application and Rationality as its Core Thoughts
Founded in the first half of the 20th century,Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School has established the academic system and higher education system of modern acupuncture,through the arduous with unremitting efforts of the founder Mr.Cheng Tan'an and the inheritors,and established the basic norms of modern education of traditional Chinese medicine.This paper intended to analyze the educa-tional concept of Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School with the core of"application"and"rationality"from the aspects of the background of the formation and development of Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School,the construction of educational model,the setting of curriculum system,the compilation of teaching content and the way of teaching,in order to clarify the contemporary value of the ed-ucational paradigm of Chengjiang Acupuncture and Moxibustion School and its important influence on the reform and innovation and develop-ment of acupuncture and moxibustion talents,and pointed out the direction for cultivating innovative talents and international talents of acu-puncture in contemporary traditional Chinese medicine.
