岩心是矿产资源勘查、地质调查、科学研究过程中形成的重要实物地质资料,潜在使用价值大,具有原始性、客观性和不可再生等特点.岩心获取成本高,在保管、服务过程中会逐渐风化、破损或缺失,通过开展岩心数字化工作,不仅能提高岩心的利用率并减少对实物资料的破坏,还可以提高岩心图文数据与信息的共享水平,为我省战略找矿提供高效的数据支撑与服务.本文介绍了我省岩心实物地质资料管理现状,总结了目前岩心数字化技术方法,通过我省地质资料数据中心建设岩心数字化工作的开展,探讨了我省岩心图像、光谱扫描技术与工作流程,阐述了我省岩心数字化的重要意义.
Core is an important physical geological data formed in the process of mineral resource exploration,geological investigation,and scientific research.It has high potential value,acquisition cost,objectivity,uniqueness,reusability,and non-renewability.During the storage and service process,rock cores may gradually become weathered,damaged,or missing.By carrying out core digitization work,not only can the utilization rate of core be improved and the damage to physical data be reduced,but also the sharing level of core graphic and textual data and information can be improved,providing efficient data support and services for strategic mineral exploration in our province.This paper introduces the current situation of geological data management for physical rock cores in our province,summarizes the current digital technology methods for rock cores,and explores the core image and spectral scanning technology and workflow through the construction of the geological data center.It also elaborates on the important significance of digital rock cores in our province.
